This exceptional Arabica coffee is grown on former colonial run plantations that are situated on a small peninsula on the northwest shore of Lake Kivu. Malongo has established a partnership with a cooperative which is supporting the local growers from this region.
The café on the shores of Lake Kivu. Originating from former colonial plantations on a small peninsula in the north-west of Lake Kivu, this exceptional arabica is made from superb varieties of coffee trees (Blue Mountain and bourbon) cultivated on the edge of the lake, on hilly slopes in the volcanic soil of great richness. Malongo has partnered with a local cooperative to support small producers in the region. This full-bodied vintage offers us intense scents, balanced with lively flavours.
